A 24-year-old Lincoln man has been arrested in connection with a deadly crash at 70th and ‘L’ Street on November 5. “Investigators determined probable cause existed that 24-year-old Ahmad Al Kadah of Lincoln was operating his vehicle in a reckless manner, with an indifferent disregard for the safety of others, going 72 in a 40 MPH zone,” says LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas.
Investigators determined the SUV was driving north on 70th and was attempting to turn left onto ‘L’ when it collided with a Wilson’s southbound vehicle. He died at a local hospital and his wife was seriously injured.
Thomas says on Thursday Al Kadah was arrested at his home without incident and taken to the Lancaster County Jail where he was booked for motor vehicle homicide and 2nd degree assault.
