A Lincoln woman has been cited for her role in a deadly motorcycle crash last August that killed 61-year-old Jeffrey Baker of Lincoln. “Investigators determined probable cause existed that 30-year-old Shaquala Robertson unintentionally failed to yield right of way to Baker, resulting in the collision and his death,” says LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas.
Investigators say a white 2014 Chevrolet Traverse driven by a Robertson was pulling out of a business lot on the east side of 48 Street and turning left to go southbound. LPD says she then struck the northbound motorcycle.
Police say Baker was not wearing a helmet and was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. “On Wednesday Robertson arrived at the Hall of Justice to be fingerprinted, photographed, cited and released for motor vehicle homicide and no insurance.
