“They’re still working on the gym, working on carpeting and moving around with windows and things of that nature.” Goodwin says they also still need to raise $1.5 million. Goodwin says right now they are ahead of schedule.
Goodwin says this project has been a life changing experience and if he had it to do all over again he would ten times. He says all of the planning and hard work has all been worth it. “Not just the facility, but seeing the growth of what we’re getting ready to do,” Goodwin says. “This is a creative space for us to really grow, not just as kids and as families, but as community.”
Goodwin says their programs should be in full swing in May.
