Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in two separate cases: a hit-and-run accident in south Lincoln; the other involving a pair of stolen motorcycles.

The first case occurred on around 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025, in the area of 56th and Nebraska Parkway.

LPD Video Forensics Technician Becky Keller said an employee at the nearby Target store called police to report a hit and run accident in the parking lot. Investigators reviewed security video which showed a large truck, believed to be a Ford F250 Platinum edition or similar model, hit the car next to her as she was pulling out of her parking spot.

While reviewing that video with police, the employee also noted the woman left with about $500 worth of beauty products that she did not pay for.

Photos from the incident are available below.

The second case occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at an auto repair shop near 7th and Calvert Streets.

Keller said a shop employee arrived to work and discovered the shop door was ajar and two customer’s motorcycles were missing.

The door had been pried open with obvious damage to the door frame. The two missing motorcycles were a silver Yamaha R6, and a red 2024 BMW S1000.

Roughly a week later, on Dec. 1, an LSO Deputy notified Lincoln Police that a silver Yamaha motorcycle was found abandoned at Shoemaker’s Truck Stop in Roca, Nebraska.

A red BMW S1000 motorcycle is still missing. A suspect was seen on video surveillance wearing a Guy Fawkes mask (or V for Vendetta mask) to hide their appearance.

Photo and video from the incident are available below.
