Investigators say an autopsy has been ordered for a 77-year-old man who died in a north Lincoln camper fire on Friday afternoon. Lincoln Fire and Rescue Public Information officer MJ Lierman says crews responded to a parking lot near 27th and Theresa streets at 2:00 and found the camper on fire.
While battling the flames firefighters found the man was found dead inside. A woman and dog escaped the fire. Lierman says bystanders reported that the man initially got out of the camper but went back inside.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
