Nebraska volleyball players Andi Jackson, Harper Murray and Bergen Reilly were named among the 14 semifinalists for the AVCA Player of the Year award Friday by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Jackson is averaging 2.56 kills per set while hitting .438 and also tallying 1.17 blocks per set. She leads the Big Ten in hitting percentage, ranking seventh nationally. Murray leads the team with 3.62 kills per set while hitting .310. She adds 2.21 digs per set and has a team-high 22 aces. Reilly averages 10.06 assists per set, quarterbacking an offense that ranks first nationally with a .344 hitting percentage.
The No. 1 Cornhuskers are back in action Saturday at Minnesota at 2:30 p.m., with pregame coverage beginning at 1:30 p.m. on B-107.3.
