A former Bellevue Police Department officer has been arrested following a Nebraska State Patrol investigation into child sexual abuse material.
According to the Patrol, 38-year-old Ryan Agustin of Bellevue was taken into custody Friday afternoon and booked into the Sarpy County Jail. He is charged with manufacturing child sexual abuse material.
The case began in July, after the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office asked the State Patrol to investigate a report involving a Bellevue officer. Investigators later determined Agustin possessed and manufactured illicit material.
The Nebraska State Patrol says the investigation remains ongoing.
