Lincoln Police are investigating a case of vandalism at Sheridan Elementary School near 31st and Plymouth Avenue. LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says they go a call from a neighbor last Saturday.
“A neighbor reported seeing graffiti on the playground surfaces, Thomas says” LPD believes it occurred sometime between Thursday night and Saturday morning. “The graffiti included a swastika, the n-word and large stylized W’s in red paint, causing an estimated $15,000 in damage.”
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the graffiti is asked to call LPD at 402-441-6000.
