Lincoln Police and LFR crews were responded to crash involving a jack-knifed semi and a pickup around 1:40 Friday afternoon on 84th Street between Leighton Avenue and Northern Lights Drive. LPD says the crash causing at least a hundred gallons of diesel fuel to leak from the truck onto the roadway.
The fuel spilled in the northbound lanes and was flowing down hill into the sewer. The health department has been called to the scene and LFR crews have built up a small dam and used several bags of dry chemical powder to absorb the fuel.
No injuries have been reported.
