Lincoln Police say five people were injured in a pair of late night crashes. Lt. Jason Goodwin tells KLIN News the first involved a car and motorcycle just west of 70th and ‘O’ Street around 10:15.
Goodwin says the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Investigators are still trying to determine how the crash happened.
Around 11:15 p.m. LPD and Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews responded to a two vehicle crash near 27th and Cornhusker. Four people were injured in the crash and Goodwin says none are life-threatening. The intersection was shut down for about an hour.
The investigation continues on this crash as well.
