Multiple ramps connecting Interstate 180 to Cornhusker Highway are set to close this week for pavement repairs, weather permitting.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation says the following closures will begin at 7 p.m. each evening:
- Tuesday, Oct. 7: Southbound I-180 ramp to westbound Cornhusker
- Tuesday, Oct. 7: Southbound I-180 ramp to eastbound Cornhusker
- Wednesday, Oct. 8: Northbound I-180 ramp to eastbound Cornhusker
- Wednesday, Oct. 8: Northbound I-180 ramp to westbound Cornhusker
- Thursday, Oct. 9: Eastbound Cornhusker ramp to southbound I-180
- Thursday, Oct. 9: Westbound Cornhusker ramp to northbound I-180
All closed ramps will reopen the following mornings at 6 a.m. There are no planned detours for these closures. NDOT suggests drivers find an alternate route.
Constructors, Inc., of Lincoln, is the contractor for the project. In the event of inclement weather, this schedule will be revised.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
