Nebraska safety DeShon Singleton was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week Monday by the conference office. Singleton earned the award after two interceptions and six tackles in the Cornhuskers’ 38-27 win over Michigan State Saturday. He became the first Nebraska player with multiple interceptions in a game since 2023, and the first Husker to earn Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors since JoJo Domann in 2021.
