The Nebraska baseball team released its 2026 schedule Thursday. The 56-game slate includes 23 home games at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park. The Cornhuskers will face eight NCAA Tournament qualifies in a total of 19 games during the season, with matchups against Auburn, Creighton, Florida State, Kansas, Kansas State, Louisville, Oregon and USC.
Nebraska will start the season in Scottsdale, Ariz., at the MLB Desert Invitational Feb. 13-16, but start times and opponents will be announced at a later date. The home opener is March 3 against Omaha, with Big Ten play starting March 6-8 with a home series against Michigan State. The Huskers will also face Michigan, Indiana, Penn State, Oregon, USC, Illinois, Ohio State, Iowa and Minnesota in conference play.
