Lincoln-Lancaster County Crime Stoppers has a hot tip for trivia lovers: “Trivia with a Mission” is the place to be on Nov. 7 for an evening of brain-busting questions.

The fundraising event begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Temple, where teams will compete for prizes while answering challenging questions. Participants should come prepared to crack cases in categories ranging from true crime to pop culture, with special bonus rounds. Crime Stoppers tips that lead to arrests may qualify for cash rewards, but at trivia night, correct answers lead to prizes and bragging rights.

Dinner and a silent auction will round out the evening, with proceeds supporting Crime Stoppers’ mission of providing anonymous crime reporting channels for citizens. Crime Stoppers is a nonprofit and relies entirely on community support. Every ticket sold and every auction bid helps keep the tip line open, rewards flowing and cases moving toward “case closed.”

Individual tickets cost $50 and tables for eight are available for $400. The deadline to purchase tickets is Oct. 17. Tickets and additional information are available at lincolncrimestoppers.org.

Lincoln-Lancaster County Crime Stoppers operates as a nonprofit organization without taxpayer funding, relying entirely on private donations to pay rewards and cover operational expenses.

The organization provides secure, anonymous channels for citizens to submit tips about suspected criminal activity. Tips that lead to arrests may qualify for cash rewards. Crime Stoppers operates under a volunteer civilian board of directors working in partnership with local law enforcement agencies.
