For 50 years Voices of Hope has been a local leader in supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking and other forms of abuse. On Thursday night, an anniversary celebration called “A Taste of Hope will be held to honor survivors.
“A Taste of Hope is more than just a celebration,” says Executive Director Natalie Roberts-Day. “It’s a reflection of the courage and creativity of the survivors we serve. Every detail, from the food to the art to the cocktails was designed with survivors, allowing our community to honor their strength and resilience.”
The event will take place at DelRay 817. “Guests will enjoy a buffet-style tasting featuring dishes prepared by beloved local chefs, highlighting the region’s finest flavors,” Roberts-Day says throughout the evening attendees will get to see powerful artwork created by survivors, transforming the space into a meaningful art show.
There will also be some video presentations from Voices of Hope advocates that will highlight how the organization helps survivors find safety and rebuild their lives. Roberts-Day says each table will feature unique centerpieces designed and handcrafted by survivors.
Tickets are available by clicking here . All proceeds support Voices of Hope’s free, confidential programs and services for survivors in our community.
