Runners and walkers who want to experience the outdoors are invited to the Pioneers Park Nature Center this Saturday for the Prairie Run and Ramble. The event is for all ages and is part of the day-long Wild Fall Festival that will feature free nature activities, workshops and animal meet-and-greets.
Nature Center Coordinator Jamie Kelley three route options will be available to participants of all fitness levels and ages. They range from one to 3.5 miles. The untimed run and walk starts at 9:00 with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m.
“Gorgeous fall prairie out there right now and open to anybody that wants to get out get some exercise. You can walk, you can jog, you can hop or skip if you want, we don’t mind what you do, just come on out.”
