Lincoln Police arrested a 30-year-old man Wednesday afternoon following a brief standoff at a home near S. 7th and Rose Street.
LPD Lt. Jason Goodwin tells KLIN News that officers were dispatched just after 3:30 p.m. September 10 to investigate a possible protection order violation involving Brandon Taylor of Lincoln. Police confirmed Taylor was inside the residence and say he refused to come out for about an hour.
Taylor eventually surrendered and was taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Lancaster County Jail for violating a protection order, a Class I misdemeanor.
