Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that portions of several streets will close beginning Wednesday, September 10. The closures are as follows:
- 12th Street between “N” and “O” streets will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, for an event.
- 33rd Street between Cornhusker Highway and Huntington Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, for railroad track repairs. The recommended detour is Madison Avenue to 35th Street to Adams Street to Cornhusker Highway.
- 40th Street at Superior Street will be closed beginning Wednesday, September 10, for Black Hills Energy utility work. This work is expected to be completed by the end of October. The recommended detour is Superior Street to North 44th Street.
- Southbound Cotner Boulevard between Randolph Street and Fairdale Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, for Lincoln Electric System utility work. The recommended detour is 56th Street to “A” Street.
