Lincoln Police are investigating a three vehicle crash Thursday afternoon that sent one person to the hospital. LPD and LFR crews were sent to the intersection of 40th and Duxhall Drive just after 1:00. The location is just south of Old Cheney Road.
The details of the crash are still being ironed out, but LPD says one person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. It’s not known which vehicle the injured person was in. One of the vehicles crashed into a tree and a red pickup ended up on a sidewalk near some bushes.
40th Street was shut down from Old Cheney Road to Faulkner Drive during the investigation. It was reopened around 2:15 p.m.
