Lincoln Police are investigating a case of vandalism at the Bennet Martin Public Library in downtown. Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says officers were called to the library around 12:45 Wednesday afternoon.
“An unknown person wrote on the cement flower bed in front of the library with blue and black marker, causing approximately $100 in damage,” Thomas says. “Vulgar language was written along with two names, Penny and Gorgie.”
Thomas says anyone with information that could help police identify those responsible is asked to call LPD at 402-441-6000.
