The Nebraska Department of Transportation says weather permitting I-180 southbound to Cornhusker Highway will close Sunday evening for pavement repairs. NDOT says the southbound ramp to westbound Cornhusker, the southbound I-180 ramp to eastbound Cornhusker, and the eastbound Cornhusker ramp to southbound I-180 will be closed at 7:00 p.m.
In addition these same ramps will be closed the evenings of the Aug. 25-28. The closed ramps will reopen the following morning by 6:00 a.m. There are no planned detours for the ramp closures. NDOT suggests drivers find an alternate route.
Drivers are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, put phones down.
