Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that portions of several streets will close beginning Friday, August 22. The closures are as follows:
- Havelock Avenue between 84th and 148th streets will be closed from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, August 22, and Saturday, August 23, for the Gravel Worlds event.
- Canopy Street between “Q” and “R” streets and “R” Street between Canopy Street and Pinnacle Arena Drive will be closed from 6 a.m. Friday, August 22, through 10 p.m. Sunday, August 24, for the AVCA First Serve volleyball event. Additionally, westbound “R,” “Q,” and “P” streets at Ninth Street may be periodically closed as a part of these closures. The recommended detour is “N” Street to the Haymarket parking garages.
- 33rd Street between Pioneers Boulevard and Prescott Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, August 22, for private property crane work.
