Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in two separate cases, one involving a man seen publicly masturbating in a neighborhood and the other involving a drive by shooting.
The first case occurred on around on Wednesday, July 30, 2025,in the area of S. 26th and “C” Streets.
LPD Audio-Video Analyst Jared Minary says a man was seen on home security footage walking around the neighborhood, suddenly stop, turn around, slightly pulled down his pants and briefly masturbate.
The man appeared to be startled by something before quickly “packed up” and continued walking down the sidewalk.

The second case occurred in the early morning hours on Monday, July 7, 2025.
Minary says the driver of a car on W. Washington Street between SW. 8th and 9th Street was seen on surveillance video firing 6 gunshots outside the vehicle.
The video was taken near SW. 8th and W. “A” St. The vehicle appears to be a lighter colored 4 door sedan.
