Traffic has been shut down near UNL’s East Campus following a major gas leak around 9:20 Wednesday morning. LFR says a two-inch gas line was hit by a construction crew and 33rd Street between Holdrege and Potter.
Lincoln Police says repairs have been made to the gas line and the street reopened around 12:15 p.m.
