Lincoln Police say a motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash near Nebraska Parkway and Apples Way around 6:00 Friday night. LPD says the preliminary investigation revealed the motorcycle was eastbound on Nebraska Pkwy when it collided with a wooden block in the roadway.
The impact caused the 47-year-old rider to be thrown from the bike. No other vehicles were involved in the crash and police don’t know how the wooden block got in the roadway or how long it was there.
The rider was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The investigation is on-going.
