Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in two separate cases, both involving motorcyclists.

The first case occurred on around 9:15 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025, in the intersection of 70th and ‘O’ Streets.

LPD Video Forensics Technician Becky Keller says the victim reported a dirt bike traveling westbound crashed into the back of their vehicle while stopped at the light.

The biker apparently told the victim that his brakes had stopped working, but when the victim told him to pull into a parking lot to exchange information, the biker sped off and left.

The victim told police the suspect was a possibly Hispanic male.

Video and pictures from the incident are available below.

The second case occurred on Saturday, July 19, 2025, near 56th and ‘O’ Streets.

Keller says a Lincoln Police officer was driving westbound when he saw a motorcyclist driving a black Yamaha with no plates. When he turned on his cruiser lights to initiate a traffic stop, the biker waved at his body camera and sped off at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of traffic.

The officer did not attempt to pursue, for safety reasons, Keller says.

The suspect was described as wearing red and white tennis shoes, red gloves, and had possibly a band tattoo around his left forearm.

Video and photos of the incident are available below.
