By Tom Stanton Aug 1, 2025 | 12:34 PM

Lincoln Police have released more details in the death of 44-year-old Jeremy Charginghawk, who was found in a parking lot near 27th and Theresa Streets on June 14th.  “During the investigation, investigators determined 35-year-old Ahmed Al-Musa, who owns the business where the victim was found in the parking lot, had run over Charginghawk,” says Public Information Manager Erika Thomas.

“He then moved his vehicle to the back of the business, out of sight of responding officers, before performing CPR on the victim”  Thomas says afterward, Al-Musa drove the vehicle to a residence in the area of Potter Street and N. 22nd Court, about 1.5 miles away.

Thomas says Charginghawk was wearing dark clothing and was struck in an unlit area of the parking lot.  On Friday Al-Musa was cited and released for tampering with physical evidence.
