Bridge repair work will close a portion of Northwest 140th Street between W. Branched Oak and W. Raymond Road on Monday, July 28.
Nebraska Game and Parks says the closure will affect access to parts of Branched Oak State Recreation Area. Visitors heading to areas 3 through 8, which includes Middle Oak Creek Campground Area 4 and Liebers Point, should approach from the north and follow posted detour signs.
A second bridge on West Rock Creek Road between Northwest 140th and 126th streets will also be closed for repair after the first project wraps up.
The target date to have both bridge projects complete is by September.
