South 27th Street between Van Dorn and Calvert streets is now closed for emergency tree removal, according to the City.
Lincoln Transportation and Utilities says the closure will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday (July 17) and Friday (July 18).
The recommended detour for northbound traffic is Calvert Street to 33rd Street to Sheridan Boulevard to Van Dorn Street. The recommended detour for southbound traffic is Van Dorn Street to Sheridan Boulevard to 33rd Street to Calvert Street.
StarTran Route 56-Sheridan will be detoured during this work. For more information on street closures, visit lincoln.ne.gov/closures.
