Monday was a busy day for Nebraska Football recruiting as four-star cornerback Danny Odem and three-star running back Jamal Rule both pledged their services to the Huskers for the Class of 2026 after 4 p.m.

Odem is a 6-foot-2, 180-pound cornerback from Orlando First Academy. Despite playing his high school ball in Florida, he’s a native of Pennsylvania. He had Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, Clemson and Oklahoma in his top five before picking the Huskers.

Rule is 6-foot, 205 pounds from Charlotte Christian High School in North Carolina. He averaged over nine yards per carry last season as a junior. Michigan State, Syracuse and Virginia Tech were the other finalists for his services.

Odem and Rule bring the Class of 2026 to eight commitments. Nebraska has gotten five within the last two weeks with one decommit, four-star defensive back CJ Bronaugh from Florida.
