Lincoln Police are looking for man who tried to run over a 29-year-old clerk at the Super C near 27th and Superior around 9:40 Sunday night. “The clerk told officers he’d gotten into an argument with a customer driving a 2024 gray Nissan Altima,” says Public Information manager Erika Thomas.
“Once outside, he said the male driver made threats of hitting him with the vehicle and then began driving toward him, hitting him and a vehicle he had been standing behind.” Thomas says a 2020 white Kia Stinger sedan sustained about $2,000 in damage.
The victim complained of leg pain but did not go to the hospital. The driver of the Nissan left the scene before officers arrived. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information that could assist officers in the investigation is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or call Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
