Lincoln Youth Can Get Unlimited Bus Rides for $20 This Summer

Youth ages 5 though 18 can access unlimited bus ride services in Lincoln this summer through StarTran’s StarPass discount program.

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities says program passes are now available for purchase at designated outlets in Lincoln. StarPass riders can take the bus as much as they’d like for no additional cost from May 23 through August 31 for $20.

“StarPass lets young people explore Lincoln, meet friends, and create unforgettable summer memories, all while enjoying the freedom and convenience of free public transit,” said Carla Cosier, Assistant Director of Transit. “We are proud to offer a pass that keeps youth connected to everything our city has to offer.”

StarPass is available for purchase at the following locations:

  • StarTran office, 710 “J” St., 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays
  • Hy-Vee locations
  • All Russ’s Market locations, except the Coddington Avenue and West “A” Street store
  • Super Saver locations at 840 Fallbrook Road and 5460 S. 56th St.
  • “F” Street Community Center, 1225 “F” St.
  • Carol Yoakum Family Resource Center, 4621 NW. 48th St.
