Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) has announced several upcoming road closures beginning Tuesday, May 27, and Wednesday, May 28, for street and utility improvement projects across the city.
Closures starting May 27:

Adams Street from 46th to 48th streets will close for street improvements through mid-August.

Southbound I-180 from Cornhusker Highway to “R” Street will be reduced to one lane for median work through the end of June.
Closures starting May 28:

40th Street from South to Randolph streets and “A” Street from 33rd to 48th streets will close for a water main replacement project. “A” Street work should finish by late June, and 40th Street work by mid-August.
Detours will be posted. Local access will be maintained, and StarTran Route 54–Veterans Hospital will be detoured.
