A 77-year-old Lincoln man has died more than a month after he was involved in a crash at 17th and ‘P’ Street in downtown Lincoln. LPD says the SUV driven by 77-year-old James Hedrick was struck by another SUV on April 7.
The impact pushed his vehicle into a post in front of the University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union building. Lincoln Police say the other 77-year-old driver survived her injuries. Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says Hedrick was initially expected to survive.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
