Lincoln Parks and Recreation announced on Wednesday that the Trago Park Sprayground at 22nd and “U” Streets has opened early due to the warmer temperatures.. The sprayground will be open daily now through Labor Day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
“We’re experiencing higher-than-average temperatures this spring, and we’re excited to offer our community an early opportunity to enjoy one of Lincoln’s most popular warm-weather amenities,” says Parks Director Maggie Stuckey-Ross. “We encourage everyone to come out, stay cool, and make the most of this early start to summer fun.”
The sprayground is free and open to the public, and offers interactive water play features and shaded seating areas for visitors to enjoy during the warmer days.
