Two Men Arrested in Nebraska Child Enticement Investigations

Nebraska State Patrol investigators have arrested two men as part of child enticement investigation.  NSP says in April both men began communicating online with an NSP investigator, posing as a 14-year-old girl. In separate communications, each man arranged to meet for a sexual encounter with what they believed to be a 14-year-old girl.

On May 1, NSP troopers and investigators showed up at the designated meeting locations and arrested the two individuals.  The first arrest occurred at a park in Hastings, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Troopers located and arrested the suspect, identified as 32-yea-old Guillermo Lopez Campos of Harvard. He was booked in Adams County Jail.

The second arrest happened outside a grocery store in Grand Island at approximately 11:40 p.m., Thursday. Investigators found and arrested 23-year-old Oscar Linares Mendez of Grand Island. He was booked into the Hall County Jail.
