By Nate Rohr Apr 27, 2025 | 4:47 PM

Six Huskers signed undrafted free agent contracts to the NFL after two Nebraska players were drafted. Tampa Bay and Baltimore signed two Huskers each while Carolina and San Francisco both signed one.

The Buccaneers signed linebacker John Bullock and center Ben Scott. Bullock arrived at NU as a walk-on, but developed into a tackling machine for the Huskers, making 70 tackles to finish third on the team in stop. He was also second on the team with 10 tackles for loss, while piling up four sacks, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles and an interception. He’ll be joined in Tampa by center Ben Scott, who transferred to Nebraska from Arizona State and anchored the Husker offensive line for Matt Rhule’s first two years as head coach.

Two more Huskers became Ravens. Nose tackle Nash Hutmacher heads to Baltimore after spearheading the middle of Nebraska’s tough defense. He compiled 24 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks and a forced fumble in his senior season. Jahmal Banks will also head to the Ravens after one season with the Huskers. He finished led the team with 587 receiving yards last season while finishing second on the team with 43 catches. Banks came to Nebraska after starting his college career at Wake Forest.

Another transfer wide receiver, Isaiah Neyor, is now a 49er after one year as a Husker. Neyor had 34 catches for 455 yards and a team-leading five touchdown catches. Finally, Lincoln native and rover Isaac Gifford signed with the Panthers. In his senior season at Nebraska, Gifford led the team with 73 tackles while notching four tackles for loss and a pass breakup.

The six signed to free-agent contracts join Ty Robinson, who was drafted in the fourth round by Philadelphia, and Thomas Fidone, who was picked by the Giants in the seventh round, as players who have pro football spots one day after the draft.
