The City provided updated details of a South 27th Street closure Friday.
Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) says Southbound South 27th Street between “A” and Washington streets will be closed from 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, through 6 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, for private utility work by Lincoln Electric System. The project was previously stated to shut down street access between “A” and “B” streets.
The recommended detour is “A” Street to Normal Boulevard to South Street to South 27th Street. Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around this closure.
