A 46-year-old Lincoln woman was arrested Saturday afternoon after an incident inside a home near 58th and Huntington Avenue. LPD Lt. Jason Goodwin says they were told Lori Leafty had threatened her roommate prior to firing one round from a handgun.
“Officers contacted Lori in her vehicle, attempting to leave the scene,” Goodwin says. “Lori was cooperative and taken into custody without incident. No one was physically harmed during this incident.”
Goodwin says a gun was recovered from the home. Leafty was taken to the Lancaster County Jail and booked for terroristic threats and using of a weapon to commit a felony.
