Lincoln’s 2025 City Primary Election featured 9 city council candidates for at-large seats, several school board seats, an airport authority seat, and a ballot initiative on whether the city should continue a quarter-cent sales tax for street improvements.
Six city council candidates will advance to the general election where only 3 will be elected.
The first election results dropped at 8:00 PM, consisting of early vote ballots received through Saturday, April 5th. Then another at 9:15 p.m., 10:15 p.m., and the last at 11:15 p.m.
Approximately 7,000 Early Vote Ballot will be counted on Friday, April 11th. All provisional ballots (173 and 17 voter identification) will be counted on Tuesday, April 15th.
