Lincoln Police weren’t horsing around when they responded to a call Saturday night. They were sent to the area of NW 10th and West Dawes for a nonemergency call about a miniature horse standing in the middle of the street.
LPD says after some petting and a few strawberries, officers safely handed him over to Lincoln Animal Control. In a social media post LPD said “all’s well that ends well, and this tiny trotter is now back in good hands.”
They also expressed hope that the owners would see the post and can be reunited.
