A 65-year-old Lincoln man is facing charges after police says he pointed a gun at several teenagers Friday night in east Lincoln. Officers were called to the area Eastview Road and Moonlight Drive just after 10:00 p.m.
LPD says the victims are all between the ages of 12 and 15 years old and they reported they were riding electric scooters and a bicycle in the area while ringing doorbells on random houses and then riding away. Investigators said at one point a silver SUV driven by an older white man began following them. ‘
Police say he approached the group, pointed a handgun at them, and threatened to kill them. Officers searched the area and found 65-year-old Randall Burianek, who matched the description of the suspect and was driving a silver SUV.
LPD says a handgun was recovered from his car. Burianek was arrested and taken to the Lancaster County jail for terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
