A 38-year-old man has been arrested after Lincoln Police responded to an indecent exposure call at the Walmart on north 27th Street around 8:30 Sunday night. Public Information Officer Erika Thomas says a 16 and 18-year-old girl told officers they were shopping in the store with their family but had split up when a man began following them around with his phone.
“They said they saw the suspect’s zipper open, and he exposed himself,” Thomas says. During the investigation, the officer reviewed surveillance video which corroborated the victims’ details and identified the suspect and his truck.
On Tuesday, officers arrested 38-year-old Andrey Vetsalo of Ceresco and took him to the Lancaster County Jail for indecent exposure.
