A day-long search for a wanted man ended with his arrest Tuesday evening. Lincoln Police say 43-year-old Clinton Mohlman had several warrants for his arrest, including possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
According to LPD, officers contacted Mohlman just before 3:45 a.m. Tuesday near S. 20th and South streets passed out in the driver seat of a vehicle. Public Information Officer Erika Thomas says officers saw
a meth pipe with residue in the center console.
She says officers instructed Mohlman to exit the vehicle, but he refused and sped off. His vehicle was later found empty on the lawn of a nearby home. Around 11:30 a.m., the Metro Fugitive Task
Force, led by LSO, attempted to find Mohlman in the same area.
Then around 7:30 p.m., Thomas says LPD Narcotics & Gang Units assisted LSO and the Metro Fugitive Task Force in finding Mohlman at a residence near 24th and ‘B’ streets and took him into custody.
