Lincoln Police have released the names of the man and woman who died during a domestic violence incident just after midnight Wednesday morning near 22nd and ‘G’ Street .  Public Information Officer Erika Thomas says 44-year-old Pah To shot and killed his girlfriend, 40-year-old Bu Gay, before turning the gun on himself in a bedroom.

Thomas says Gay’s 13-year-old son was also shot and seriously injured, but managed to call 911 to report the shootings. “At this point he is expected to survive. He’s in Omaha in a hospital being treated there,” Thomas says.   “Still a long road to recovery for him”

A 15-year-old girl and an eight-year-old boy were also in the home but were not injured.  Police say Gay is the mother of the 13 and 15 year-olds.  To is the father of the eight-year-old boy and all of them were living together in the apartment.

“The investigation is active and ongoing as LPD works to determine what happened and why,” Thomas says.  “Our hearts go out to the loved ones impacted by this tragedy, especially the three children involved.”
