The Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department has closed Hazel Abel Park near 17th and ‘E’ Streets due to damage from the March 19 blizzard.
The park will reopen after forestry division crews assess and remove a downed tree. It’s not known how long that process will take.
Residents are advised to avoid the park during the work.
