The phone number is 888-365-2421.
The situation is much worse for the Norris Public Power District. General Manager and CEO Bruce Vitosh tells KLIN News it could be a couple of more days before power is fully restored. As of Thursday afternoon nearly 11,000 customers were without power. “The heaviest areas without power are in Seward County, Lancaster County and northern Thayer County.”
News nearly 250 of their power poles have been damaged or broken and the roads in Seward County and the northern part of their territory are difficult to travel and some of their trucks have gotten stuck.
“We’re still doing line patrol, we’re still assessing how many poles we have down and other things that are affecting our infrastructure.” To follow updates on the NPPD outage map click here.
