Lincoln Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in identifying suspects in two separate cases. One involves a shoplifting suspect accused to stealing multiple vacuum cleaners and other items, the other involving dirt bike burglar in north Lincoln.
The first case occurred across multiple dates — February 23, March 6, and March 13, 2025 — at two different Target locations in Lincoln.
Video Forensics Technician for the Lincoln Police Department Becky Keller says Target employees at the S. 40th and N. 48th locations report on Feb. 23 that a man walked out with a Dyson vacuum and other items valued at $405, on Mar. 6 a Dyson vacuum and other items for a total loss of $440, and on Mar. 13 a Dyson vacuum and other items for a total of $640.
Police say, in total, the suspect is reported to have walked out with three Dyson vacuums and other items with a total loss value at around $1,400.
Investigators heard the man appears stiff when he walks and may have an injury, and he has been seen leaving in a dark colored Infiniti GX80 SUV or similar vehicle.
Pictures of the suspect and an example photo of the vehicle are available below.
The second case occurred around 4:00 a.m. on March 16, 2025, at the Elway Powersports near N. 27th and Whitehead Drive.
Keller says the business reported their security alarms sounded this night. Upon reviewing footage, video showed three individuals breaking a glass door and grabbing two blue Yamaha dirt bikes, valued at over $8,000 each.
The third individual walks off camera for a couple of minutes and leaves seemingly emptyhanded.
Video and photos from the incident are available below.
