Ribbon Cut on New Health Care Facility For Seniors in Lincoln

By Tom Stanton Mar 11, 2025 | 4:04 PM

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday morning at a new healthcare facility dedicated to serving seniors in Lincoln.  ArchWell Health is a primary health care center for adults 60 years of age and older and is located just north of 48th and O Street.

“We think it’s a very unique model where we’re able to spend more time with members taking care of preventative health care, any chronic conditions,” says Dr. Corey Harthoorn.  He says they put the focus on preventative health care and regular screenings, including mammograms and colonoscopies.

“We interface with Medicare and tell them we can keep our members healthier, out of the ER, out of the hospital.  Of course, Medicare loves that because those things are very expensive.” ArchWell Health can also treat chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and thyroid issues.

Harthoorn says all of their patients are on Medicare Advantage, also known as Medicare Part C.   ArchWell Health does accept patients on a joint Medicare/Medicaid plan between the ages of 60-65.
