One woman ended up in the hospital and another in jail after a shooting near 32nd and Portia around 6:30 Sunday evening. Lt. Jason Goodwin says when officers arrived they found a 44-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Goodwin says she was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. “21 year old Mercedes Kruger was arrested at the scene, and lodged at jail for 1st degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
The investigation is ongoing.
